"So many dresses to choose from"
I’ve used The Volte a few times now, and the thing I keep coming back for is how much is actually available. I don’t know if I’m just lucky, but I can usually find my size and the dates I need without endlessly scrolling, which is a relief because I have the attention span of a goldfish when I’m shopping online.

I had a wedding last weekend and managed to find a dress quickly, even though I left it a bit late, as usual. It made the whole thing way less stressful than buying something new every time, especially when half the time the dress just sits in my wardrobe afterward next to jeans I swear I’m going to wear again. I’d definitely use it again

"Damage issue, got sorted out"
It took a little while, but, in the end, they handled my damage claim fairly. I appreciated that they followed up, and got it resolved without too much hassle.

"The Volte is handy if you need..."
The Volte is handy if you need an outfit for one event and don’t really want to buy something you’ll only wear once. Browsing and booking were fairly easy, and I like the idea of people sharing clothes instead of everything going to waste. That said, some items didn’t have many dates or sizes available, and the extra fees added up more than I expected. Delivery was okay — not super quick, but it got there. I’d use it again if I found the right dress, but it would be nicer if the whole process felt a little more straightforward and fair.

I used The Volte to rent a dress for an event and yeah, it was smooth overall. The dress showed up on time and was in good condition, which was nice because I was a bit worried about that for no big reason maybe. Sending it back wasn’t stressful either, like it was all just straightforward. I also liked not having to buy a dress I’d wear once and then just have sitting in my cupboard forever. Would definitely use it again for another thing...

"Packaging could’ve been better"
I used The Volte recently and, to be fair, the postage side of things was fine. It showed up around when I expected, so no real issue there.

The packaging was where it felt a bit slack though. The item itself wasn’t damaged, but the bag looked beaten up by the time it arrived, and that’s kind of on them for not packing it a bit more securely.

Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, just a bit mixed. I’d probably still use them again, but I do think they need to put a bit more effort into how they send clothes out.

"Tracking was kind of slow"
The tracking didn’t really update as quickly as I expected, so I was a little unsure what was going on for a bit. But the dress did end up getting here before my event, so it worked out in the end.

"So many cute dresses to choose from"
I was surprised by how many dress options were on The Volte. I needed something last minute for an event on the weekend, and I was fully expecting to panic-scroll with a coffee in hand at 10pm, but I actually found a few really nice ones in my size. The filters helped a lot too, especially narrowing down by size and style. I ended up finding something that worked perfectly, so I’ll definitely use The Volte again next time I’ve left outfit planning way too late.

"Shockingly, the size notes were actually useful"
The dress fit pretty much how the size notes said it would, which was a nice little miracle. It was a bit snug around the waist, because apparently breathing is optional, but it still worked fine for the night.

The dress did show up on time, so that was good, but the tracking barely updated at all. Like, barely. It made me a little nervous waiting and not really knowing where it was. Everything worked out in the end, but the delivery process could definitely be more reliable.

I used the app to browse dresses and it mostly did the job, but oh my gosh, it got so clunky at times. The lag wasn’t constant, but when it happened, it felt like the app was moving through molasses. And the filters resetting randomly? Absolutely maddening when you’ve finally narrowed everything down. Checkout was actually fine, which was a relief, but the whole mobile experience could definitely be smoother. It’s not unusable, but it did make me sigh dramatically more than once.

"Sizing advice helped, but wasn’t spot on"
I used the sizing guidance before booking a dress on The Volte because I’ve had fit issues with rentals in the past and wanted to avoid the same thing happening again. It did help a little, but when the dress arrived, the fit still felt slightly off. It wasn’t a huge problem and I could still make it work, but I do wish the measurements had been a bit clearer. Overall, it was an okay experience.

I did get my bond back in the end, so that was fine, but the whole process felt a bit slower than I expected. Maybe they were busy or short-staffed, I’m not really sure, but there wasn’t much communication along the way. Overall, it was okay, just not exactly quick.
